Spotlight Parties

Beginning in 2011, the Octopus Club began turning its “Spotlight” on community minded retail and entertainment businesses. Several time a year, one of our friendly and supportive businesses, such as SAKS Fifth Avenue, La Sombra Bar and Grill, Cole Haan, Estilo, Soigne, and Lily Pulitzer, invites the Octopus Club to happy hour with complimentary cocktails, appetizers, and entertainment.

Guests make a donation at the door that of course goes to the Paul Kirby AIDS Emergency Assistance Fund at AIDS Services of Austin.

We welcome inquiries from any business that would like to participate and enjoy the benefit of introducing their business to a crowd of new folks who are engaged, community-minded, known to shop a little, and eager to support a business that supports a cause they hold dear. The business hosts the party, the Octopus Club turns out the crowd, and the Paul Kirby AIDS Emergency Assistance Fund gets the contributions.
