IT’S TEA TIME! And you know what’s coming up – just Austin’s most exciting party of the year –OctoTea 16. Your OctoTea Planning Committee is already heavily into the process of creating and re-creating this annual event that provides so much for so many of our  friends and neighbors in need right here in Austin, who struggle daily to live with HIV/AIDS. This year’s event will have all the elements that have kept it so popular since 1995 – but there will be a few new twists. As always, every single penny – yeah, 100% -- of the money you spend at OctoTea 16 will go directly to the people who need it most.

This year, and every year, the Octopus club promises that 100% -- every penny contributed at the event from ticket sales, auction, raffle, and even Corporate Sponsorships go to the Paul Kirby Emergency Assistance Fund at AIDS Services of Austin to provide life-giving medications, co-payments, eyeglasses, food, transportation, utility and rent payments for needy persons living with HIV/AIDS.  No overhead or administrative costs come out of the funds that we raise.
