The Octopus Club (all volunteers) puts on events—large and small—to raise money for the Austin AIDS Emergency Fund. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to people living with HIV/AIDS in times of crisis.

You can play a key role in the success of this unusual and unique celebration and help guarantee that for the sixteenth year, Austinites living with HIV will have a place to turn when they face a financial emergency.

Please join us by being a host/hostess. Here are the levels available and what you're asked to do:

$50 - 1 Ticket
$100 - 2 Tickets
$250 - 4 Tickets (Not asked to sell tickets.)
$500 - 6 Tickets (Not asked to sell tickets.)
$1,000 - 8 Tickets (Not asked to sell tickets.)

1. Contribute some money. These funds go to cover the costs of the event. If there is host/hostess money left over, it will go to the Emergency Fund along with 100% of every dollar guests spend at the event.
2. Volunteer to volunteer. Pitch in for an hour or two before, during or after the event.
3. Help sell tickets. We'd like you to commit to selling 10 of them before the event. This not only guarantees the fund raising success, but also puts your face on the event and makes people want to come.

If the spirit moves you, there are additional ways to help such as serve on one of the committees working before the event on various components (décor, tickets, art acquisition, program, food and beverage, entertainment, auction).

Upon receipt of your check, you will be sent 10 tickets to sell. You can turn in your money at the door the day of the event or to Robert in advance, and you will be contacted about your volunteer slot.
